David Eby sounds off on the unfolding security bill for the 2010 Olympics. Most of our friends at M's school are already talking about the fantastic vacations they are planning so that they can escape the city during the circus. I suspect I'll be forced to take the time off, since it sounds like the downtown core will be closed, making it impossible to get to work. In fact, given that one of the venues is less than 300m from our building, it seems likely we won't be able to leave the apartment... maybe a trip to Hawaii is in order...
